Today's UCOTD comes to us from the South -- it's an Atlanta-based 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.

The seller has put 51,000 of the 97,000 miles on this hot-rod JGC, and he or she is selling due to an addition to their family.

It's stock and fully loaded, according to the seller, and has lived in both Michigan and Georgia.

It is also, apparently, in good shape -- though with the usual wear and tear expected from 97,000 miles and eight years of life.

Stupid vehicle, that can't do any of the things a truck should be able to do. If I want something fast/quick and sporty I'll get a corvette or a 4 dr sport sedan. Taking a truck & neutering it to try and make it into something it's not is just pointless. But maybe that's the point of this road disaster

  It has the same 7200lbs towing capacity as the 5.7L Grand Cherokee. Also, it's a unibody crossover to begin with not a 1-ton dually. IMO it is a stretch to claim this is a major travesty compared to turning a workaday sedan into an AMG or SS or Evolution whatever.

  Almost no one will drive this at 9/10ths - exactly like almost no one drives a corvette or sport sedan at 9/10ths. I happen to like SUVs with big engines - and judging by sales numbers - lots of other people like them too.

Wjtinfwb Hmmm. Given that most Ford designs are doing relatively well in the marketplace, if this was forced I'd bet it was over the S650 Mustang. It's not a bad looking car but some angles seem very derivative of other makes, never a good trait for a car as distinctive as Mustang. And if he had anything to do with the abysmal dashboard, that's reason enough. Mustang doesn't need the "Tokyo by Night" dash arrangement of a more boring car. Analog gauges, a screen big enough for GPS, not Netflix and some decent quality plastics is plenty. The current set-up would be enough to dissuade me from considering a new Mustang.
