Today's used car of the day is a manual-transmission 2010 Porsche Cayman S that comes to us from Dallas.

The car has new brake pads, rotors, and tires, and has had some cosmetic damage. It also appears to have leaking topside gaskets.

There are about 67K miles on the clock.

So it's not in perfect shape, but it appears to be in good enough condition that if you want a used Porsche with a stick and can put in a bit of work, you could get yourself a sweet ride.

The asking price is $42,000.

Feels a bit high but then again... forget it Jake, its Clown World.

In 2021 someone in Sewickley had an MY01 soft top in a manual with 54K otc which I am fairly certain was a 996 and not a Boxster - $20K. I already had my C70 at the shop being reborn and could have done the $20K but it would have been tight and just didn't make sense. Still...

Verbal Rented a Malibu a while back. It was fine, if a bit gutless.I get that Detroit wants to go all-in on high profit margin SUVs and blinged-out MAGA trucks. Everyone has known for decades that they can't compete on price in the affordable sedan space. So now all of Detroit's sedans are gone except for a couple of Cadillac models.But you'd think that just one of the domestic brands could produce a fun, competitive and affordable sedan. Just one?
